Will my warranty be void if I don't have my car serviced at a main dealership?
It’s a common misconception that if you have a new car it needs to be serviced at the main dealership to keep the warranty in tact.
However, changes to consumer law in 2010 confirmed that you have the right to choose who services your car.
Our technicians have the expertise to carry out vehicle servicing in adherence to manufacturer's specifications and maintain your log book schedule.
Bringing your vehicle to Werkstatt not only provides excellent value compared to dealerships but won't void your vehicle manufacturer's warranty.
Do you only work on European cars?
Although we specialise in European cars, we also supply the same quality of service and workmanship on all makes and models.
Do you offer fixed price servicing?
We don’t offer fixed priced servicing as this generally limits the quality of the service provided.
We would rather estimate the cost of the service for your vehicle based on the needs and requirements of your vehicle. After we have checked the car, understand what has been done previously and determined what the car needs we will contact you with an estimate. This approach, in our opinion, will give you better value for money in the long run, and keep your car running at its peak.
What is the basic cost of a service?
The cost of a basic service starts from $450.00 depending on your vehicle's make and model.
This includes oil and filter change as well as a thorough check and assessment of the vehicle including diagnostic systems scan and re-set.
If we spot an issue while checking your vehicle we will consult you immediately and advise you of the potential cost before we go ahead and carry out any work.
Do you have necessary diagnostic equipment to work on the latest makes and models?
Yes, we have the latest diagnostic equipment to carry out dealership-level diagnostic scanning. We make sure this is always up-to-date and our technicians are required to undertaken constant training to keep up to date with industry and technology changes.
Are you near public transport?
Yes, we are 5 mins away from Parramatta's CBD, which has easy access to trains, buses and ferries. There is also a bus stop located at the entrance of our street - ready to take you to Parramatta's key transport facilities.
Do you have a courtesy car?
Subject to availability we do offer courtesy cars to customers who are required to leave their vehicle with us for a prolonged period.
How long will I need to leave my car?
The length of time we will need your vehicle depends on what work is required. We will advise you to the best of our ability how long we expect to hold your vehicle when you book.
Basic services are same day pick-up (e.g. drop off in the morning - before 9am - and pick-up by COB - after 5pm).
Through no fault of our own sometimes there can be a delay with parts delivery. Should unexpected delays occur we will advise you as soon as possible.
Likewise, should we find unexpected issues with your vehicle while carrying out an inspection and you'd like us to go ahead and fix them this will also impact the length of time we require the car.
